Tea and cakes as Redditch Mayor bakes for Macmillan Coffee morning

Ross Crawford 23rd Sep, 2018

THE Mayor of Redditch is inviting residents to join her for a cup of tea or coffee and a slice of cake while supporting national cancer charity Macmillan.

Councillor Juliet Brunner will be busy in the kitchen baking for her Macmillan Coffee Morning at the Town Hall on Friday September 28, from 10am to 12noon.

Cakes have also been pledged by nearby cafe JJs which sits in front of the Town Hall.

“So many people’s lives are touched by this terrible disease and this charity is particularly close to my own heart,” said the Mayor.

“I hope as many people as possible join me for a cuppa and some cake so we can support this charity and the amazing work it does.”

Everyone is welcome to pop along, meet the Mayor, enjoy some refreshments and donate to the cause.
