KEEN cyclists, walkers and rowers from Redditch are urged to come forward to test themselves in the ultimate team trials this summer.
‘Paddle,Plod and Pedal’ event on Sunday June 25 for St Richard’s Hospice, features a paddle along the River Avon from Pershore to Tewkesbury before walking to Kempsey. The route ends with a cycle back to Pershore where all participants will receive a medal and a complementary pig roast.
The event is not a race and entry is free but people are encouraged to pledge to raise either £150 each or £1,500 for a team fundraising effort.
