TEDDY bears are set to take over Ragley Hall Gardens near Alcester for a Teddy Bears’ Picnic with proceeds going to the new birthing unit at Warwick Hospital.
The event will feature lots of activities to keep the whole family entertained, including readings of the Tales of Shakespuss by author Melissa Mailer-Yates.
Young bears with energy to burn can also play on the adventure playground.
There will also be a best dressed teddy bear competition, games, a rhythm time session and more.
Tickets are £10 for adults and £2 per child over five years old with under fives free.
Tickets are limited so to avoid disappointment visit www.buytickets.at/teddybear .
The event is being organised by the Birth and Babies Appeal which aims to raise £200,000 to help make the birthing unit the best it can be.
South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust will be funding the build but NHS funds only go as far as functional materials and equipment.
This additional money will be invested into special enhancements that will make the facility fabulous for women and their families.
The event is on Friday, September 1 from 11.30am to 4pm at Ragley Hall Gardens, B49 5NJ.
