A TEENAGER was robbed at knifepoint in Redditch.

The 16-year-old was walking the pathway between Banners Lane and Kenneth Vincent Close in Crabbs Cross around 9.30pm on Saturday when the attack happened.

He was threatened and robbed by two other teenagers who held a large knife to the victim’s throat before stealing a Canada Zavetti parker coat, a Gucci style pouch bag, £60 to £80 in cash and a data bank for a mobile phone.

They made off on foot towards in the direction of Evesham Road.

The two suspects were both white and aged between 16 and 18 years old.

The first was 6ft tall, of slim build, and was wearing a black tracksuit zipped up at the front.

The second suspect was around 5ft 11ins tall and was wearing a grey tracksuit and dark coloured boy warmer.

Both suspects wore t-shirts over their heads as a makeshift balaclava only exposing their eyes.

Police said officers were interested in hearing from anyone who lived in the local area and had any doorbell footage that may have captured the two suspects before and after they committed this robbery.

Anyone with any information should call Det Sgt Ian Tomlinson on 01562 826105 or email him at [email protected] – alternatively, call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
