AN older people’s housing scheme in Redditch has won ‘Silver’ at the Elderly Accommodation Counsel Awards 2019.
Terryspring Court in West Avenue, scooped the prize after competing against 25,000 other retirement housing schemes across the country.
The award ceremony, held at the Sheridan Suite in Manchester, celebrated the ‘best specialist housing for older people’.
Zoe Hopkins, manager at Terryspring Court, said: “We’re thrilled to have won this award because it means the 19,000 people who voted for us – made up of staff, residents and visitors – are happy with what we do.”
Mary Hadon, Terryspring Court resident said: “I’m so pleased to hear that we won the award because I really enjoy living here.”
