Ross Crawford 18th Dec, 2018

MORE than £1,000 has been raised by Tesco staff from a sleep out in aid of Redditch Nightstop.

The initiative to help the local charity for the young homeless was part of the store’s community action programme and saw a team bed down under the star’s at Nightstop’s Britten Street headquarters.

“We were told to not bring any tents or anything but when we turned up nearly everyone else had brought one,” said the store’s Belinda Randall.

“Despite that we bedded down under the stars and covered ourselves in wheelie bin bags to keep the damp off.”
