THE 80s returns to Redditch with an all new show.
The ‘80s MANIA’ programme is endorsed by Mike Read – the Radio 1 breakfast DJ during the 1980s – who described it as being ‘like Live Aid meets Top of the Pops’.
The show will sweep into Redditch in January and comes from West End producer, director, performer and choreographer Vikki Holland-Bowyer, and partner Greg Stevenson.
The production features back-combed hair, shimmying shoulder pads, and wet-look neon leggings.
Kim Wilde, Duran Duran, Adam Ant, Boy George, Wham, Erasure, Soft Cell, the Human League, Dead or Alive, Nena, Madonna, Cyndi Lauper, Gary Numan, and Tony Hadley are just some of artists featured.
Producer Greg said 80s Mania featured something for everyone.
“It’s broader in its range of music than your widest shoulder pads, standing stiletto-heels-like head and shoulders above the rest. We promise a show bigger than the biggest hair the 80s had to offer.”
Vikki added: “It’s totally unique – audiences take the time to prepare and dress as their favourite pop stars, reliving the childhood memories that the 80s helped make so unforgettable.”
80s Mania will be at the Palace Theatre, Redditch at 7.30pm on Saturday, January 14.
Tickets can be purchased from redditchpalacetheatre.co.uk or by calling the Box office on 01527 65203.
