RENOWNED horticulturalist and award-winning gardener will be hosting an event at Great Alne park in Alcester.
Royal Horticultural Society head judge Jim Buttress and Gardeners’ World presenter, Toby Buckland will take part in an expert gardening Q&A.
The duo will also host a demo, showcasing how to create a beautiful container pot for autumn.
The event is completely free, coffee and cake will be served and guests will also have the opportunity to receive a tour of Great Alne Park.
Ben Ling, village manager at Great Alne Park, said: “We can’t wait to welcome Jim and Toby to Great Alne Park. They have both led incredibly interesting careers and I’m sure they will have some amazing stories to tell. Many of our residents are green fingered have a passion for gardening.
“Gardening and being outdoors has lots of benefits on our mental and physical wellbeing and it’s a great way of staying active and taking up hobbies during retirement, something we’re always keen to support at Inspired Villages.”
The event takes place on Thursday October 20 from 11am to 2pm.
