COMMUNITY charity Carers Careline is holding a fund-raising sale of handmade goods at the Ecumenical centre on Tuesday, November 27.
Running from 10am to 12noon the kettle will be on and there will be cake for sale as well as a host of wonderful gift ideas.
“Our Carers have made some beautiful things for us to sell,” said manager Fiona Mitchell.
“And as well as all their fabulous stitched, knitted and crafted items there will be lots of home-baked cakes and a fantastic raffle with generous prizes that have been donated by local stores and businesses.”
The sale is the charity’s main fund-raising Christmas event and they’re hoping lots of shoppers will also join them at the coffee bar.
Carers Careline is also marking Carers’ Rights Day on Thursday, November 29 when Fiona and the team will take a stand in the Kingfisher Centre to offer advice and information.
