VEHICLE thieves who need cloned registrations are now looking to neighbouring Redditch villages to steal number plates from cars.
West Mercia Police have been investigating a spate of number plate thefts in and around the Abbeydale Estate, Easemore Road and Forge Mill Lane.
The police have encouraged people worried about the possible theft of their number plates to request to be sent anti theft screws from the force.
Officers are urging people to contact [email protected] if they wish to receive anti theft screws or if they have information to report relating to the thefts.
