EAGLE-EYED pupils from a Redditch school will be looking to the skies this weekend, taking part in the RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch.
Children from St.Luke’s CE First School will be taking part in the world’s largest wildlife survey, which involves members of the public spending an hour counting the wildlife in their gardens Saturday (January 28 – 30)
The youngster from the school on Plymouth Road have been learning about caring for wildlife in their Forest School sessions, where they have been using tools to make their own bird feeders.
The nationwide Big Garden Birdwatch survey has been going since 1979 and the information gathered helps the RSPB establish which species are in trouble and which are thriving.
