THE historic Feckenham Wake returns on Saturday, June 22, and promises to be more entertaining than ever.

Thousands of people are expected to attend the event, which is held across The Square, recreation field and village hall and starts at 1pm.

It will offer a mixture of new and traditional attractions, including Punch and Judy, laser tagging, vintage bikes and classic cars.

Member of the organising team, Julian Bull, said: “We will also have bungee trampolining and strolling circus entertainers from Rogue Play Theatre.

“This year’s theme is ‘All the fun of the fair’ and will be thrilling for all families.”

Feckenham Wake is a not-for-profit village fete with a difference.

Julian added: “All of the attractions are either free or at very modest prices as we think it’s important to give every family the chance to experience what a traditional village fete is like.”

As usual there will be plenty to eat and drink, including a pop-up Prosecco bar.

The annual Dog Show and circus skills workshop also return.

Parking in local fields is limited and costs £3 for the afternoon.
