Time for tea? Mad Hatter fun on Headless Cross Green is on the way

HEADLESS Cross orchard volunteers have got the kettle for a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party on the Green this Sunday, April 29.

For on that day the Community Orchard is celebrating its ‘Un-Birthday’ and the party starts at 3.30pm with games, refreshments and the chance to ‘feed your head’ on this successful project.

Volunteer Gabby Hemming said: “We’re planning a fun afternoon, friendly for all the family. There’ll be lots of games, shared food and good company.

“Wear your silliest hat, bring a fancy teacup. And of course, your sense of humour!”

The orchard is host to a wide selection of Worcestershire varieties of fruit trees, including the Pitmaston Pineapple and the Yellow Egg plum.
