THE FESTIVE season has definitely not cancelled at Botany Bay Nurseries where a consignment of 500 Christmas trees has just arrived.
And the lorry load of British-grown trees created a real buzz at the Astwood Bank garden centre on Edgioake Lane.
Jamie Ratcliffe, director at Botany Bay, said: “This is the day that really kicks off Christmas for the team here, it’s one of our favourite days of the year.
“It’s quite a job unloading, unwrapping and hanging the trees for display but when the customers come along to view them all and choose their perfect tree, it makes it all worthwhile.”
