A TRAVEL agent from Redditch has been recognised as the ‘Best Independent Travel Agent’ in this year’s Midlands Enterprise Awards.
Managing director Mike Allsop, who runs Barnt Green Travel Lounge in Hewell Road, heard the news last Monday.
He said: “We were extremely happy to have been nominated and of course to win.
“It is really nice to know the hard work the team have put in since moving to Barnt Green in December 2016 has been recognsied and rewarded.”
Awards are given to businesses which despite their ‘small’ size, offer fantastic customer service and an outstanding overall performance.
They are given for going above and beyond their competitors.
