IT’S HATS off to Christine Brett who has opened a shop dedicated to the very best in headgear – from bespoke creations to off the shelf numbers.
Borough Mayor Councillor Joe Baker was on hand to doff his cap to the Lodge Park entrepreneur and officially open the business, based in Newtown House off Hewell Road.
Christina’s Hats & Fasinators specialises in hand made designs but stocks a large range of bought-in products too to suit every pocket and for those last minute buys.
“We’re unique in Redditch and really there’s no comparison between one of my hats and one from the high stores,” said Christine.
She also specialises in wedding bouquets and thanks to living locally can easily meet clients at her business.
Mayor Joe Baker added: “It was great to open Christina’s hats fascinators and wedding bouquets, here in Redditch. It is very important to support local businesses and enterprise. Redditch has a wealth of local talent and skills and it is nice to see someone putting these skills into a business.
