POPULAR cafe Druckers in Redditch has closed its doors following the collapse of its parent chain Patisserie Valerie.

Patisserie Holdings plc went into administration after rescue talks with banks failed.

The firm’s Patisserie Valerie concession in the Kingfisher Shopping Centre’s Debenhams store has already ceased trading.

Druckers in the Kingfisher is one of the company’s 71 outlets that will close nationwide, including 27 Patisserie Valerie stores and 25 Patisserie Valerie concessions in Debenhams and Next.
