Traffic officer to address meeting in bid to stop speeding through Studley

Redditch Editorial 24th Oct, 2019   0

SPEEDING traffic on Station Road and how to slow it down will come under discussion at a meeting of Studley Parish Council.

The issue has long been of concern for residents and at last week’s parish council meeting local County Councillor Clive Rickhards said he had asked Traffic and Road Safety officer Graham Stanley to come to Studley to address the council.

Coun Rickards (Lib Dem) also reported that hopes of getting average speed cameras along the busy A435 through the village were also still a possibility.

Meanwhile the lollipop crossing is to be re-instated on Studley High Street from November 5.
