RESIDENTS of a Redditch care home took a trip down memory lane with Transport Museum Wythall.
Helen Freeman, manager of St Martins care home, organised the trip and said she was impressed with the charity.
“I can honestly say from when I first contacted them a few weeks ago to when we returned back home, they have been amazing. I feel proud to be part of a fantastic team and residents.
“We all laughed, smiled and the sun shine all the way through.
“When my residents smile and are happy that makes me happy.
“Thank you again to Transport Museum Wythall you are amazing.”
Transport Museum Wythall said they were pleased to be able to accommodate the trip.
Dave Taylor said: “This is a very busy time for the museum and we are normally unable to free up volunteers to undertake such activities, however, on this occasion we were only too pleased to be able to help.
“The museum does not hire its buses out and this trip was provided free of charge as a service to our local community.”
