MAJOR delays along the Cross City train line between Redditch and Birmingham New Street have been reported by West Midlands Railway.
The disruption has been caused by emergency services dealing with an incident near the railway at Birmingham New Street. The line is now reported open.
Delays and cancellations are expected to last until around 10.30am today (Wednesday, April 24)
Alternative operators, including trams, Chiltern Railways, National Express West Midlands buses, Avanti West Coast and Cross County are accepting passengers via ‘any reasonable route’ until further notice.
