A WOMAN has suffered serious injuries in a two vehicle crash in Studley.
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to the junction of Green Lane and the A448 at 3.18pm this afternoon. An ambulance, paramedic officer and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Strensham responded to the scene.
An off-duty paramedic came across the incident and rendered aid until ambulance colleagues arrived on scene.
The driver of a car, a woman, sustained serious injuries and received trauma care by paramedics before being conveyed by ambulance to Birmimgham’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital for further specialist care.
No one else was injured in the collision.
The A448 has been closed and is expected to be shut for the next few hours.
Drivers are being advised to avoid the area and find alternative routes.
