THE Pride of Redditch Awards have once again struck a chord with local residents who have nominated 48 different people for recognition leaving the judges with the difficult job of choosing next week’s winners.
Good deeds recognised range from volunteers running youth groups, music clubs, people raising awareness of medical conditions, businesses who go out of their way to help the local community and people raising money for charity.

Organiser Rebecca Blake said: “What they all have in common is that they don’t think they are doing anything special and they aren’t looking for recognition. This is why it’s so important to let them know they are valued and appreciated. I hope the nomination, the awards evening and maybe becoming a 2015 winner shows them how grateful we are for their work and how they are helping to improve our town.”
Anyone interested in attending the awards on the evening of the 11th December should email [email protected] or tel 07739 565 241 as tickets are going fast.
