IT’LL be a Merry Christmas at Redditch Sheds after the TSB donated £170 to the group to help pay for their festive meal.
The generous cheque was handed to Sheds co-ordinator Roly Duke by branch manager Karen Baxter who said she’d been inspired by the great work the Britten Street team do.
“We’re part of the local community and we want to help the local community and I think the work the Sheds group does, not only in keeping skills alive but also providing a warm and friendly atmosphere for friends to meet deserves to be recognised,” she said.
The TSB in Redditch is also a supporter of the charity Where Next? and the money for this latest donation comes from the unicorn Hill branch’s community fund.
Redditch Sheds provides an opportunity for both men and women to get together and make things in a friendly and convivial atmosphere.
