MAKE a date for cake, coffee and tea at the next coffee morning in aid of Studley in Bloom at the local Co-op store this Thursday, July 18.
The event comes as the Bloomers get ready for a visit from the judges of the Heart of England in Bloom competition on Saturday, July 27.
“We haven’t entered anything for the past three years but it was felt we had some areas which would be good enough to stand a chance in the Neighbourhood Awards,” said spokeswoman Gill Liebthal.
As a result she is appealing to the people of Studley to keep the village in tip top condition and free from litter to make the best possible impression on the judges.
“We will have a litter sweep beforehand and Stratford district council are always pretty good to us but it would help if everyone could play their part.”
Find out more at the coffee morning on Thursday which will run from 10am onwards and feature delicious cakes, coffee and tea with a raffle too.
All proceeds will go to help the efforts of the Bloomers.
