Ross Crawford 2nd May, 2019 Updated: 2nd May, 2019

A HEARTY breakfast is being served up by Redditch Scouts in a drive to raise money to send six of them to World Scout Jamboree 2019 in the United States.

The Big Breakfast event is being held in the Ecumenical Centre in Evesham Walk on Saturday, May 11 from 9am to 12noon and everyone is invited along to tuck in and lend their support.

Lighter and vegetarian options will also be on the menu as well as the Full English.

The World scout Jamboree offers a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to youngsters to meet similar minded people from across the globe.

Redditch Scouts are hoping to raise £25,000 to pay not only for the trip Stateside but also to pay for training camps and other youth activities in the borough.

To help them out with the fundraising and get fed at the same time, simply pop along to the Ecumenical Centre on the day.
