HEALTH trusts have launched a sexual health campaign to make sure residents stay safe this Christmas.
Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust will be raising awareness throughout the 12 days of Christmas with messages of safe sex, facts on STIs and pregnancy through the Sexual Elf project.
Dr. Bill Spice, clinical lead within Sexual Health Service, said: “Everyone has the right to an enjoyable and fulfilling sex life, but we also have a responsibility to avoid causing unwanted pregnancies and sexually transmitted infections.
“Using condoms is the best way to do this, and all our clinics provide them free of charge. Alcohol often makes people take a risk by not using a condom – don’t be one of them and end up with an unwelcome Christmas present this year.”
