TWO young men have been arrested after a gang of four attempted to break in to Tesco in Alcester this morning.
Shortly before 3am today (Wednesday, July 19 ) police were called to Tesco Express in Hopkins Precinct, Alcester.
When police arrived on the scene, four criminals, all wearing hoods with their faces covered, quickly fled in a light blue BMW M3.
The police sped after them until they finally stopped, damaging both the BMW and a police car. The four thieves then ran off towards Hadrians Walk, Alcester.
A 20 year old man and a 16 year old boy were found and arrested on suspicion of burglary. They are both in custody.
Officers are appealing for anyone who was in the area of Hadrians Walk at around 3am this morning. Anyone with information about the two remaining criminals should call Warwickshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 42 of 19 July.
