POLICE have launched an appeal after two men were attacked in Redditch in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Two 20-year-old men were walking along the path on Foxholes Lane in Callow Hill at around 12.45am on Wednesday (July 19) when they were approached by an unknown man.
He then attacked one of the men with what is believed to have been a knife causing injuries to his neck.
There was some shouting between the victims and the attacker before he assaulted the second man, resulting in minor injuries to his chest.
The attacker, who is white, in his early to mid 20s, of slim build with short blonde spiky hair and bushy eyebrows, then ran off towards the wooded area next to Partridge Lane.
He was wearing a white t-shirt with a pattern on the front and dark jeans at the time.
Police are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or who saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area at the time.
