POLICE have reported two incidents of a woman seen hanging around the cashpoint machine in Bleachfield Street, Alcester.
It comes after a woman barged an elderly man out of the way and stole £500 from his account as he used the cashpoint on Wednesday, July 24.
On both occasions the thief had waited until the victim had keyed in their PIN number.
That was the second time users of this particular machine had been targeted.
The culprit then was described as possibly Eastern European with long brown hair, wearing a baseball cap, dark leggings and a cream coloured top.
Last Friday, August 2, a woman possibly matching that description and aged between 28 and 35 and this time wearing a black puffa jacket and cap was seen hanging around the machine at around 12.20pm.
The following day a woman, possibly the same, was seen by the cashpoint at around 8.45am.
This time she was wearing a black and white cardigan.
In both these latest cases a silver car was seen nearby, but it and the woman had disappeared by the time police arrived.
Local officers from the Safer Neighbourhood Team are urging people to remain vigilant.
