Two Redditch brothers garden on stage with new show

TWO BROTHERS will be gardening on stage at Feckenham Village Hall, kicking off their live and local programme.

Jake and Warren Oldershaw have been digging deep into the reasons why we could all do with a bit more horticulture in our lives with their show The Head Gardener.

During each performance they will design, draft and bring to life a unique and beautiful garden, share fascinating stories of different plants and species, tell personal tales to illustrate why gardening is so important for mental health and maybe even throw a few songs into the mix as well.

At the end of the show, audience members will be welcome to wander around the garden, get a few personal tips from the brothers and, so the rumour goes, may even come away with something nice to plant in their own garden.

The performance – at 7.30pm next Sunday, November 13 – is sponsored by Arts Council England, Worcestershire County Council and Redditch Borough Council and is produced by Untied Artists Theatre.

Doors open at 7pm and there is a licensed bar.

Tickets are £13.50 and are on sale at the Village Shop and The Rose and Crown in Feckenham or people can book online at feckhall.org or by phone on 0333 666 3366.
