VOLUNTARY and community groups are invited to bid for the latest round of funding from Redditch Borough Council’s Main Grants Pot.
Funding from £500 to £5,000 is available to help groups with their core costs and salaries.
It can also be used to support them in delivering community events, projects and activities.
The Main Grant Pot has been split into two rounds. The first round ended in May this year and saw successful bids from Old Needle Works, BARN, Carers Careline, Redditch Wheels Project, BENS Community Groups and Relate.
The remainder of the pot is now up for grabs and will be open to applicants until 4pm on Wednesday, October 7.
Applicants must be providing a service which is needed in the area, be well planned and outcome focused.
Leader of the council, Matt Dormer, said: “The pandemic has hit everyone in one way or another and we are all treading uncertain ground.
“Whether you are putting up screens, need extra help to pay overheads or are hoping to progress a socially distanced project in the borough, I hope that our voluntary community sector takes advantage of the second round of grant funding.”
