A WOMAN has been arrested after a a car hit a pedestrian in Studley last night.
The emergency services were called to the scene on Allendale Crescent at 9.01pm.
Warwickshire Police attended the scene along with the Ambulance Service and a man was taken to hospital where he remains in a critical condition.
A 24-year-old woman from Alcester was arrested by officers on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent. She remains in custody.
Enquiries continue and anyone with information or who saw the collision is asked to contact us quoting incident number 142 of 29 May.
West Midlands Ambulance Service sent an ambulance, a paramedic officer and the Air Ambulance Critical Care Car to the scene and a Community First Responder was also in attendance.
On arrival, paramedics found the pedestrian who had sustained serious injuries.
After treatment at the scene, he was taken to Birmingham’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital for assessment and further treatment.
The driver of the car was not injured.
