A DRIVER who was airlifted to hospital after a crash in Hanbury on Friday morning has died.
The collision happened on Goosehill Lane around 9.50am this morning (Friday, January 2) when a blue Volvo hit a tree.
The driver, a man in his 50s, was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries and the road was closed for a number of hours, but has now re-opened. He has since died in hospital.
PC Owen Steer from West Mercia Police said the force’s thoughts were with his family.
“We are keen to establish exactly when and how the collision occurred and we would urge anyone who may have seen the car, which we believe was travelling towards Droitwich along Goosehill from the general direction of Himbleton to please get in touch.”
