FOUR people have been charged in relation to car-key burglaries in Redditch.

Alia-Paige Coates, 20, of Yardley Wood Road, Shirley, Ryan Allen, 19, of Sladepool Farm Road, Birmingham, and two 15-year-old boys were all charged with conspiracy to commit burglary.

They were remanded to appear at Kidderminster Magistrates’ Court today (Saturday, November 12).

A total of six people were arrested over the incidents and two of them from Birmingham – a 29-year-old and a 22-year-old man who were held on suspicion of burglary, have been bailed.

Det Con Dave Hanson said: “This is the latest step in our ongoing work to prevent burglary and we continue to offer all victims our full support.

“We urge everyone to ensure their property is secure at all times and consider installing devices to such as anti-snap locks and vehicle immobilisers.”
