A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman’s body was found in Wast Hills Lane, Hopwood, early this morning.
The 30-year-old was held and will be questioned by detectives.
A second man, aged 51, was also arrested on suspicion of assisting the offender. Both men remain in police custody as investigations continue.
Her body was discovered just after 6am this morning.
Police praised the community for the help they had given so far and urged anyone with any information who had not yet spoken to officers to get in touch.
