A MOTORCYCLIST suffered serious injuries in a crash in Redditch on Saturday evening.
The collision, involving a Suzuki GSX-R600 and a Mazda 2 car happened at the junction of Morsefield Lane and Icknield Street Drive at 8pm.
The motorbike was being driven in the direction of the Golden Goose pub towards the Warwick Highway roundabout.
The car was travelling down Morsefield Lane, approaching the junction with Icknield Street Drive.
West Midlands Ambulance Service sent an ambulance, a paramedic officer and the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance also attended the scene.
The rider was assessed and had sustained serious injuries, including fractures to both legs.
He received advanced trauma care at the scene and was conveyed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance for further treatment.
The driver of the car was not injured. No arrests were made.
