Ross Crawford 13th Feb, 2018 Updated: 13th Feb, 2018

POLICE are appealing for information and witnesses after two men were seen ‘squaring up to each other’ in the St Faiths Road / Crooks Lane area of Alcester on Friday, February 9 at around 1pm.

One of the men may have been holding a stick-like weapon.

Police are also investigating another disturbance in the same area – St Nicholas Close / Crooks Lane – involving a group of males, this time at around 7.40pm on the same day.

Damage was caused to parked cars and house windows and some of the group may again have been carrying stick-like weapons.

Police say some of those involved were seen to leave the area and go into Hertford Road where they dispersed on foot and in cars.

Anyone who can offer any information on these disturbances is urged to contact Alcester Police as soon as possible on 101 or details can be given anonymously via the independent Charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
