MORE than 450 people turned out to mark VE Day 80 at The Oast House in Redditch on Saturday.

A special event, featuring food, music and stalls, was organised by the Reditch Armed Forces and Veterans Breakfast Club (AFVBC).

The 80th anniversary of the end of the Second World War in Europe took place at The Oast House.

People were encouraged to wear uniform and fancy dress from the 1940s for the celebration which offered the chance for people to get together with veterans, family and friends old and new.

Billed, as a ‘classic party’ it also featured a traditional singalong, lawn games, a barbecue, outside bar and more.
