Views sought as Neighbourhood Plan reaches the next stage

Redditch Editorial 26th Jul, 2021   0

THE Tanworth-in-Arden neighbourhood development plan is a step closer to fruition following receipt of the draft plan for formal consultation, the stage of the process prior to its independent examination.

The plan has been prepared by the local parish council covering 2011-2031 with the help of the local community.

It sets out a vision for the future of the area and planning policies which will be used to determine planning applications locally.

The draft plan must now be publicised for a minimum of six weeks so people can make their views on it known.

A copy of the draft plan and associated documents can be viewed on Stratford District Council’s website at www.stratford.gov.uk/tanworthnp or at Stratford-on-Avon District Council’s offices, Elizabeth House, Church Street, Stratford-upon-Avon and Stratford-upon-Avon and Henley-in-Arden libraries.

A copy can also be viewed at Tanworth-in-Arden Parish Council office, rear of Earlswood Village Hall, Shutt Lane, Earlswood, B94 6BZ between 10am and 12noon, Monday to Thursday, or outside these times by contacting the parish council via email at [email protected] or phone on 01564 703200.

Representations on the draft plan may be made to the district council by no later than 5pm on Friday, September 10, 2021.

This can be done either by using the on-line form on the website at www.stratford.gov.uk/tanworthnp or by attaching a form to an email and sending it to [email protected].

Postal responses should be sent to Stratford-on-Avon District Council, Planning Policy, Elizabeth House, Church Street, Stratford-upon-Avon, CV37 6HX.
