DOMESTIC violence is on the rise in Worcestershire according to figures released by two county based charities.
The Worcestershire Domestic Abuse Service said they had an 60 per cent increase in calls to their helpline along with West Mercia Women’s Aid and Stonham, a division of the Home Group.
They received nearly 1,500 calls between April and June this year and this rose to more than 2,300 between July and September.
