PEOPLE in Redditch who would like to remember their mum this Mother’s Day are invited to visit Huntleys Funeral Services who are running a special competition.
Open to anyone who wishes to remember their mum – and not just those who have used Huntleys previously – the idea is to nominate your mum, with a special message, to have a rose bush named after her.
To enter, people can simply pop into Huntleys at 58 Ipsley Street and enter their mum’s name, with a message and their contact details into their special postbox.
The winner will be picked out on March 24, in time for Mothering Sunday, and will have a rose bush named after their mum, alongside a special plaque made in her memory.
Paula Cook, Funeral Arranger and Administrator at Huntleys, said: “This is a wonderful way to celebrate and remember the special women in our lives. We are inviting anyone who wants to remember their mum this Mother’s Day to pop in and see us this week.
“We are looking forward to making someone’s Mother’s Day very special.”
Huntleys are open from Monday to Friday, from 9am until 5pm.
