REDDITCH Police have issued a holiday scam warning after a local resident received a telephone call out of the blue.
The caller, on a Tunbridge Wells number, told the Beoley road West resident that they’d won a cheap holiday – and then asked for their bank details.
Taken aback, the householder refused and immediately contacted the Police.
Officers say anyone who receives such a call, or anything similar asking for bank details, they should refuse to give the information and contact them by calling 101.
