THERE’S food glorious food at Studley Cricket Club this weekend with lots on offer to tickle the tastebuds.
Not only that but the The Attic Theatre Company will also be staging The Wind in the Willows on the Sunday at the club.
The fun kicks off tomorrow, Friday, July 31 from 5pm when the team from Fire & Fizz will be cooking woodfired pizza.
Then on Saturday, August 1, from 3pm Muntys Kitchen will be cooking their mouthwatering burgers while on Sunday Seven Mile will be serving up a selection of tasty dishes including their slow roasted lamb and Moroccan Chicken Flatbread from 2pm.
That same day families will be able to enjoy The Wind in the Willows by The Attic Theatre Company who are presenting two performances, the first at 3pm and the second at 6pm.
With theatre tickets just £10 its a chance for visitors to enjoy some great food and the re-telling of one of the best-loved loved stories in the world.
The initiative is part of a new drive by the cricket club, off the A435 Birmingham Road between Washford in Redditch and Studley.
Estelle Gardiner from the club said: “This weekend see’s our first Food Glorious Food weekend with us teaming up with three of the best local street fooderies parking up and serving their freshly made deliciousness.
“These companies, like us, have suffered greatly from cancellations and lost business over lockdown. Its the perfect formula for us all to work together to ensure our survival.”
And if you can’t make it, the plan is to continue the food offering through August and September with The Attic Theatre Co also returning on Friday, August 14.
