What do you think of Redditch? County Council wants to know your views

ONE of Worcestershire’s biggest public opinion surveys is underway with residents being urged to have their say on the area they live in.

The Worcestershire Viewpoint survey is aimed at getting the opinions of people on a range of public services, as well as their overall satisfaction with the county as a place to live.

Worcestershire County Councillor Karen May, Cabinet Member for Transformation and Commissioning, said: “Everything we do as a council is shaped by what matters most to Worcestershire residents.

“The survey is one of our most important ways of gauging public opinion.

“The quality of the survey’s results increases when more people share their views with us.

“We encourage as many residents as possible to respond to the survey, and to sign up to our Viewpoint Residents’ Panel to ensure they don’t miss their chance to take part in other public engagement opportunities.”

Worcestershire Viewpoint is the Citizens’ Panel partnership between Worcestershire County Council, Malvern Hills, Wychavon and Wyre Forest District Councils, and the three NHS Clinical Commissioning Groups in Worcestershire.

Last year, more than 3,000 residents took part in the survey.

Eight out of ten people said they were satisfied with Worcestershire as a place to live.

This year’s survey can be found at www.worcestershire.gov.uk/viewpoint, and runs until Friday, June 15. Results will be published later in the year.
