THE ladies from Redditch Inner Wheel held their annual friendship celebration at the Southcrest Manor Hotel recently.
Members and friends from all over the Midlands joined them for a lunch followed by an excellent talk by Ruth Lowe who entertained them with a display of Mary Quant memorabilia and with many stories about Mary.
Ruth’s enthusiasm for her favourite lady was so infectious it left members looking forward to hearing more in the future.
The ladies were joined by Redditch Rotarian President, Bichitra Das, who seemed to enjoy being surrounded by 64 women.
Members of Redditch Inner Wheel are now busy donating much needed items for the Ukrainian crisis but are not forgetting to continue collecting and donating items to the local foodbank.
It’s a busy time of year for members who have also recently enjoyed a craft day at a member’s home, are preparing to visit other clubs and looking forward to a visit to the historic Selly Manor in Bournville.
