WHEN it comes to fish and chips, Redditch really has landed the best catch in quality.
Not only have we the award winning Golden Carp and Winyates Chippy, but joining them are Studley Fish Bar and Church Hill Chippy.
All three have been named as quality fish and chip shops in The Good Food Award’s 2020 Good Chippy Awards.
All three owners, Andrew Elinas at Batchley, Stevie Georgiou at Studley and Stan Yau at Church Hill sang the praises of their customers and their hardworking staff.
Stan said: “We had an email in June saying we had got through the first round, then they checked our reviews and food hygiene, and then we discovered we’d won an award – but it’s all down to the staff and the support we get from our customers.”
