REDDITCH United FC has landed a new deal with Bromsgrove Council Business Waste to manage the club’s waste and recycling over the next two seasons.

In exchange, the company have taken out a corporate package and sponsored the prominent stand behind the dugouts to help promote their growing service in Worcestershire and South Birmingham areas.

Redditch Utd commercial manager Craig Dixon said: “We are very happy that our two businesses have managed to work collaboratively with this agreement.

“When we first started discussing our business waste needs they were able to smash our current bills in half.

“We are certain that the exposure our club can provide will enhance their business further and this is another example of how we are able to engage with local business providers.”

Councillor Karen May, Leader of Bromsgrove District Council, said: “The ‘service-swap’ partnership we’ve developed with Redditch United will assist them in the day-to-day running of their business and allow them to use the money saved to have a greater impact on the lives of local people, bringing adults and children enjoyment and healthier lifestyles.

“The purpose of our Commercial Waste team is to work with and help local businesses for the benefit of both the economy and our local communities.

“I am proud that this sponsorship also shines a light on the hard work of our crews, particularly during the current situation.

“It is a hat trick situation for all!”
