POLICE are urging witnesses to come forward following a fatal crash on the M5 in which a lorry burst into flames.
Just before midday on Friday (January 20) a white lorry crashed into the barrier on the southbound carriageway of the M42 slip road near junction 4A.
The lorry burst into flames and the driver – believed to be a man in his 50s – was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Officers would like to speak to anyone who saw the incident or who saw the vehicle and the manner in which it was being driven prior to the collision.
