STUDENTS at Tudor Grange Academy in Redditch have been treading the boards with their latest stage production, The Wizard of Oz.
It’s an iconic tale of Dorothy Gale and her dog Toto, who go on a magical journey down the yellow brick road in the Land of Oz to find the Wizard so she can find her way back home.
Along the way she meets the Scarecrow, Tin Man and Lion, her trusted friends who help her on her journey, despite some unfortunate problems caused by the Wicked Witch on the way.
The production at the Woodrow Drive academy features their very own therapy dog ‘Ozzie’ who plays the part of Toto.
Ozzie has become a well-known and well-loved member of the Academy and local community paying frequent visits to the Woodrow First School and Webheath Primary School to help students with their reading.
