A WOMAN has been found unconscious and injured on a pathway in Redditch with her small dog.
Police were called to Compton Close and Foredrift Rise at about 1.25pm on Tuesday (March 29) where the woman in her fifties was discovered with head injuries.
She was taken to hospital for treatment but the cause of her wounds is still unknown.
When the officers arrived she was wearing a grey overcoat, a black scarf, black trousers, black wellington boots and a blue head scarf. She also had a brown and white collie dog with her at the time.
Police are investigating the circumstances to establish exactly what happened to the woman and are urging anyone with information to contact them on the non emergency 101 number or to call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111
